This email is to inform you that effective immediately, we will be temporarily extending your normal lead time to 10 business days for standard product. Painted products will still remain at the standard 25 business day lead time. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Paradigm sales or customer care rep. We will continue to keep you informed of any changes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Quick Tips – To Prevent Damage

  • Product must be transported in an upright position
  • Mulled units must never be leaned unsupported or maneuvered in any way that could lead to deflection of the mull. 
  • Store packaged windows/doors in a clean, dry environment 
  • Storage area must be ventilated
  • Do not store in direct sunlight
  • Do store windows/doors UPRIGHT only
  • Do not lie windows/doors FLAT
    • Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper storage
 
 
Details – Handling and Storage Requirements for Paradigm Window Solutions Product
  1. All windows, doors and other materials must not be removed from factory packaging until ready for installation. Movement of any product between the time of delivery and installation must be in the products packaging. 
  2. Products must only be unpacked in close proximity to the opening they are to be installed in.
  3. Once unpacked, product can only be handled by hand. Be sure that an adequate number of people are available to lift and install heavier products. 
  4. Product frames may shift out of square during handling; this is not a product defect and it is expected that the installer will re-square the frame as a part of the normal installation procedure.
  5. Extra care must be used when handling product in cold weather.
  6. Any damage discovered during the handling or installation process will be exempt from Paradigm’s responsibility; since all product was deemed to be in good condition upon delivery, as indicated by the signed acceptance document. 
  7. All materials must be stored vertically in factory packaging, out of direct sunlight, under cover, away from the weather.
  8. Products should not be leaned against anything or other products as this may result in damage.
