Welcome to PWS Optic! We are Live!
We are thrilled to officially bring Paradigm’s new order entry solution to you. We would like to take a moment to thank all of our customers who helped throughout the development and beta process. Your feedback has been extremely valuable. We couldn’t have done it without you! 

Below we have included some tips and tricks from previous e-mails as a reference. Also, remember that we are doing a daily Q&A session via Teams for anyone who would like to speak to a member of our about any questions you may have. (Links included at the bottom)
 
 
New Specs Guide
 

A new version of the rough opening guide has been added. We have also added performance data to this document so all specifications are easily accessible. This document can be easily printed. 

 
 
 
Walk Me
 
If you’re not sure how to place an order, “Walk Me” is available on the right hand side of you screen. You can choose which workflow you would like to see and the PWS Optic platform will walk you through that process step-by-step. 
 
 
Customer Portal 
 
We have built out a customer portal web page to centralize all communications. All mass e-mails, updates and product changes will be posted here when they are released. If you have any questions, visit the customer portal and use the “Chat With Us” button to talk to a member of our team. 
 
 
 
 
Browser Requirements
 

When using PWS Optic, please make sure that you utilize Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The software is not supported by Internet Explorer. The platform is accessible with mobile devices via a web browser, however, we do not recommend that you use a mobile device for order entry. 

 
 
 
Egress Sizing with Casing
 

To ensure you achieve the correct Egress sizing per your requirements when selecting Hung products at 36” X 66” – Sizing with applied Interior Receiver, Extension jambs or Exterior Casing options you must enter this size as Tip To Tip not Rough Opening.

 
 
Ordering SDL’s
 

If you choose to order applied SDL Bars, you must choose the SDL location – either Exterior, Interior or Both.  If you do not, you will not get SDL’s. 

 
 
 
 
User Access to the Live Platform

The Paradigm IT Team has sent out user registration codes to all customers and accounts who need to access Optic. If you have not received your login information and registration code, please reach out to your Paradigm sales or customer service rep. 

Add Paradigm to your Safe Senders List – Email Communications

We have noticed our e-mails have been getting caught up in spam traps. Even if you are receiving them, it doesn’t always mean others in your organization are, too. Please make sure to whitelist the @paradigmwindows domain and add us to your safe senders list. The link below outlines how to do this for each mainstream email platform. Please forward this message or the link (at the bottom) to your IT department to resolve this issue. Communications are usually always sent through marketing@paradigmwindows.com.


 
 
Product Obsolescence 

During the rebuild of our product catalog, a number of products previously available to order have been discontinued to provide you with a better, cleaner order experience and a better understanding of product offerings. We don’t expect many issues surrounding the removal of these products, as they have made up less than 1% of all orders over the past 3 years. 

 
 
Reminders

1. Concurrent with the launch of PWS Optic, the 2020 5% price increase that was previously delayed, will be implemented as of July 13, 2020. Any pricing reflected on quotes previously entered into the legacy system prior to July 13th will be honored until Friday August 7th. Any new quotes are subject to the new pricing effective July 13th.

2. Order submission functionality in TDCI has been turned off.  All quotes and orders starting on today must be submitted through the PWS Optic platform.

3. TDCI will remain active for all users through 2020, for viewing purposes only. After that, access will be turned off for everyone except for Paradigm customer service reps.

4. To assist our customers, quotes previously entered in TDCI will be transcribed into Optic by the Paradigm Team for 30 days after 7/13/2020. You will need to notify your customer service rep that an order needs to be pushed through to production.
